It’s a place to go if you’re going to Asia for the first time and want to be eased into it (it’s still a bit crazy though so be aware) or if you’re used to Asia it’s somewhere you can relax and be nostalgic. You can come as a modern traveller wanting luxury with spa treatments, swimming pools, food and drinks that you are used to at home. It’s got top shopping malls and old traditional temples, both will take your breath away. If you’re brave enough to try the local food preferably cooked by the local lady that will serve you’re food on foldaway tables and plastic chairs you will realised that the Thai food truly is among the best in the world. Flavours just explode in your mouth and try it once and you want to eat more, remember that if you ask for spicy it will be Thai spicy and it will be like playing with death. What makes Bangkok even better is the fact that you are connected to white beaches in the south and good trekking in the north.

It is on Friday July 27^th 2012 it all starts, this is the official opening for the London 2012 Olympic games where athletes from 204 nations will be excited and eager to join the games. These athletes have been preparing and practising for years to be able to come to London and represent their country, some of them will be in the games for hours or even days, some of them will have spent all the time and effort to come to London for the few seconds it takes to run 100 meters, but everyone is there to do their best and join in the festivities.
